04 / About Plateworks

What is Plateworks?

Plateworks is an independent UK recipe publication built for actually cooking, not keeping you scrolling. Every Production recipe has been cooked, adjusted and repeated in a real home kitchen before it earns its place. Quantities scale for adults and children, while practical instructions follow the job as it happens: Buy, Prep, Cook.

Cook gets dinner made. Read tells the honest story behind each recipe—what failed, what changed and why the finished version works. Learn turns those decisions into useful techniques and ingredient knowledge you can use elsewhere. Recipes still being worked on live openly in Beta, because a promising idea is not the same thing as a finished recipe.

No endless preamble, invented perfection or obligatory life story before the ingredients. Just properly tested food, clear instructions and recipes worth repeating.
